Welcome to the Science Centre -

This is the archival collection of the available science links for ideas, activities and lessons to do at home.

Use them as much or little as you like.

Remember, there is a lot of science in everyday activities, such as cooking, growing a garden, sitting in the yard and observing for different types of plants and animals, measuring the temperature and keeping a weather journal - the list is endless.  Even building with lego is science, especially if there are components like wheels, "spinny parts" and levered parts.

Like Mystery Doug always says: "Have Fun and Stay Curious."

Backyard Explorations:  Science world has some good suggestions, and this activity frame to get your junior scientists out to the yard.  There are some good ideas to make the activity more challenging, and some questions to help them put their thinking caps on.

Mystery Doug has a great activity on how flowers bloom in the spring, with a new video, and hands on investigation.
