Discuss: What "something" had the Moose been missing? What happened to the Moose when he got into real trouble? What steps did he take to face his challenges?
What did he learn from his adventures?
Activity:
The moose had to adjust to a new life after he got marooned on the island.
Make a comic, showing the changes he made, and his new friendship.

Discuss: The friends did not agree about how to tackle each of their problems. What happened each time they argued?
What did they need to do to get to the right answer, each time, to succeed?
What was their lesson? What did they learn to do?
Activity:
Draw a picture showing how the three animals worked together to paddle along the stream.
Underneath, write a sentence about the skill each animal had that helped with the job.
Writing:
Follow Up your letter from last week. If your person has written you back, be sure to talk about the things they have mentioned.
Add more to what you were talking about last week, or tell about something new that has happened.
When you are done, check your ideas to make sure they make sense.
Check for correct capital letters and periods.
